The 'must visit' show for football memorabilia enthusiasts
ABOUT THE SHOW
Following the resounding success of the inaugural events in September and December 2023, the Essex Retro Football Show established itself at a new venue in 2024: The County Ground in Chelmsford.
With an eclectic mix of stallholders covering all aspects of football memorabilia – from programmes to cards, books to badges, Subbuteo to shirts and plenty more – there really was something to appeal to all ages of football supporters.
Well-attended events took place in June and November 2024, followed by 300 through the door in June 2025, when the event incorporated the 30th Anniversary Corinthian Convention. The next Show is on 12th October 2025 with John Wark as special guest.
ABOUT THE VENUE
The Ambassador Cruise Line Ground in Chelmsford, home of Essex Cricket, is the perfect venue for the Essex Retro Football Show. All the usual football memorabilia is now showcased in one of the county's most historic sporting arenas.
The pavilion at the home of Essex Cricket is already steeped in sporting heritage to add in an even greater feel of nostalgia to the day. The fully-licensed pavilion bar is also open to visitors throughout the event (up to 30 minutes after the event officially closes).
